However I think it won't fit at all in terms of house/techno - maybe leads/bleep bloops - but the fact that it doesn't have presets/saving means it'll be a pain to use live as well? Cost around $700. Subharmonicon: I love the idea of having this, as my first Moog synth, but also because I feel I could just come up with an ambient patch, and leave it on for an hour and just bliss myself away. My budget at its maximum is $800, but if I can get a cheaper synth then I can buy pedals or another small/weird synth for the remaining $$$. I've narrowed it down to a few, and i've listed what I think are the pros/cons for each (for me). However, I'm struggling a bit in terms of what polysynth to go for. bass duties if i'm using the SE02 for a lead or something. A polysynth will help with pads/drones/chords/leads, as well as take over e.g. chords/vox), and the SE-02 can do bass or leads. I'm thinking that I can use the Digitakt for drums + samples (e.g. I make House/Techno, as well as ambient music. Currently I have a Digitakt and a SE-02, and want a polysynth to add a live performance element.
